Ukraine received over 390 million hryvnia in grants from the World Bank to support the agricultural sector.
About this reported Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval.
This is the second tranche this year from international partners. The first tranche of over 386 million has already been paid to 7,766,000 farms and other agricultural producers.
A new grant tranche of over UAH 390 million is provided to support farmers.
In particular, almost UAH 56.5 million will be allocated for subsidies for keeping cows, and about UAH 2.5 million for sheep and goats.
The main part of the funds will be directed to paying subsidies - UAH 4,000 for each hectare of land used for agriculture.
We will remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers continued state support for small farmers for 2025.
In particular, funding for the program to support farms that cultivate up to 120 hectares of land or keep up to 100 cows, 500 sheep or goats has been continued.
Farmers who did not receive assistance in 2024 will be able to apply for it in 2025. Under this program, agricultural producers receive subsidies for livestock and agricultural land cultivation.
