Attention community residents who are involved in community initiatives and volunteering!

The Center for Joint Actions, in cooperation with the international organization Novact (Spain) and with the support of the city of Barcelona, is conducting a nationwide study of public initiatives.

The purpose of the study is to collect information about the challenges that public initiatives face today, how they interact with each other, with the authorities, and with international partners, as well as what resources they need for stable work and development.

Based on the collected data, it is planned to:

  • develop mechanisms to support public initiatives in Ukraine;
  • create a base of initiatives to strengthen ties and exchange of experiences between them;
  • conduct training for 30 leaders of public initiatives, which will be aimed at strengthening the capacity of organizations, effective interaction with authorities, participation in decision-making, community restoration, etc.

Researchers pay special attention to stories of resistance, mutual aid, and solidarity — to preserve the experience of communities during wartime, make it visible and useful for others.

We invite representatives of public initiatives in our community to participate in the study.

To participate in the study, you must complete a short online survey by June 1 at the following link: https://cutt.ly/grlgR7WA

The questionnaire will help you record the activities of your initiative, formulate a request for support, and enter an open database of initiatives, which will later become a tool for establishing cooperation between communities, organizations, and donors.

The involvement of initiatives from our community is an opportunity to influence the formation of future solutions adapted to real experience and needs at the local level.
