With warmer days, we open windows more often, letting the sun and freshness into the house. But with spring comes an increased risk for children – accidental falls from windows. Small children are curious, quick and often unaware of danger. Just a moment – and trouble can happen.
How to keep your child safe:
- Do not leave windows open unattended.
- Never rely on mosquito nets – they cannot support the weight of a child.
- Install window opening blockers or latches
- Do not place furniture near windows, especially in children's rooms.
- Talk to your children about danger, even if they are only 2–3 years old – they understand more than you think.
Care is not about control, but about love that involves risk. So let's be as careful at home as we are on the street. Let's take care of our little ones - they trust us with the world.
