The Kharkiv Regional Office discussed the results of the work of the Centers for Resilience and the quality of social services in communities

This was discussed during a working meeting between the deputy head of the Kharkiv OBA, Vita Kovalska, and representatives of the Valkivska, Chuhuyivska, Kehychivska, Pisochynska, and Balakliya tergomada.

Resilience centers are in demand among community residents and internally displaced persons. The facilities are key hubs where information about all social service providers within the community is accumulated. The centers are not limited to providing services in their own premises, but also provide effective referrals to other providers who can provide more specialized and professional assistance.

«"We need to develop a network of centers, so we discussed the issue of finding additional premises and equipment for the services of these institutions. This issue is under the personal control of the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov. Another important area of work is the implementation of the Turbotik chat bot. This service allows us to quickly respond to possible crisis situations in family forms of upbringing," Vita Kovalska noted.

Special attention was paid to the issue of support and psychological assistance to veterans and their family members. The Kharkiv OVA, together with international partners, is taking a number of measures to train specialists who provide psychological assistance to a certain category, as well as carry out social adaptation. It called on relevant community representatives to actively participate in this process.

The meeting participants also discussed the need to create a "psychological map", which would contain up-to-date information on the list of social and psychological services in the field.
