In the Chuguiv community, working group meetings are systematically held within the framework of the project "Minimum Package of Integrated Social Services for Families with Children". Such meetings are an important tool for interaction between social services, local authorities and public organizations. Their main goal is to coordinate efforts and ensure that no family in need of assistance is left without support.
Why is this important?
The working group meets to discuss current issues and find common solutions to improve social services in the community. These are not just meetings, but an effective mechanism for responding to the challenges faced by families with children, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
«"Such meetings are really needed. During the meetings, we discuss various issues, jointly direct our efforts to those who need help. We work to ensure that people who need help are not left without attention."», — notes the local project coordinator Olena Bulgakova.
What was discussed this time?
During the last meeting, the working group members considered three key issues:
- Service organization day care for children with disabilities in the community. This is an important area that allows us to provide quality support to families raising children with special needs.
- Realization Strategies for ensuring the right of every child to grow up in a family environment for 2024-2028. The goal is to create favorable conditions for raising children in families, rather than in institutional settings.
- Improvement interdepartmental interactionand informing residents about available social services. This will allow people to better understand what assistance opportunities are available in the community and how to take advantage of them.
The Chuhuyiv community continues to work on creating an effective and accessible system of social support for each resident. Thanks to such meetings, the community becomes stronger and more united. Coordination of the work of various services allows us to respond promptly to challenges and effectively provide social services to local residents.
Support for the community is provided within the framework of the implementation of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) project "Minimum Package of Integrated Social Services for Families with Children" with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the German Development Bank (KFW).
