Born on July 15, 1970 in the city of Haisyn, Vinnytsia region. In 1987, he graduated from secondary school No. 2 in the city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region. In 1989, he entered the Ordzhonikidze (Vladikavkaz) Higher Military Command Red Banner School named after S.M. Kirov of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1993, he graduated from it, received the rank of lieutenant and a specialty - command and tactics of motorized rifle troops.

Народився 15.07.1970 в місті Гайсин Вінницької області. У 1987 році закінчив середню школу №2 у місті Охтирка Сумської області. У 1989 році вступив до Орджонікідзевського (Владікавказського) вищого військового командного Червонознаменного училища ім. С.М. Кірова МВД СССР. У 1993 році закінчив його, отримав звання лейтенант та спеціальність – командно-тактична мотострілецьких військ.

After graduating from college, Oleksandr Petrovych moved to Ukraine and in 1993 began his service as an officer in the 19th Separate Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine in Chuguiv as a mechanized platoon commander. In 1996, he became a company commander. He lived in the city of Chuguiv with his family from 1993 to 2000. Later, his service was carried out as part of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky and the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. As part of them, since 2015, Oleksandr Petrovych has participated in the ATO and JFO. During the full-scale invasion, he served in the ranks of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh.

Alexander Petrovich is survived by his wife Avdosyeva Larisa Viktorovna, who lives in the city of Kharkiv, and his son Vasylenko Mykola Oleksandrovych, born in 1995, who lives in the city of Chuguiv.

Circumstances of death:

While performing tasks to defend Ukraine during a full-scale war, Oleksandr Petrovych fell seriously ill, and the brigade command was forced to send him for treatment to a military hospital located in the city of Dobropillya, Donetsk region. On November 19, 2022, he died of "Atherosclerotic Heart Disease.".

Oleksandr Petrovych was buried in the cemetery in the village of Rohan, Kharkiv region on December 12, 2022.
