
Born on July 31, 1992 in the village of Korobochkino (now Korobchyne), Chuguiv district. In 2009, he graduated from Korobchyne comprehensive school, and in 2013, from the Petro Vasylenko Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture, receiving a bachelor's degree. In 2014, he received a full higher education in mechanical engineering.

While still at university, Oleksandr also acquired the working profession of an electric-gas welder at the Center for Vocational Education No. 1 in the city of Kharkiv. After graduating, he worked for two years as a turner at the Malyshev Plant, and since 2015 he has been working as a mechanic-tester at LLC «NEOPERSPEKTIV».
He got married in 2016. Oleksandr, together with his wife and two twin daughters, lived in the city of Chuguiv.




On 11/30/2023, he was mobilized by the Chuguiv RTCC and SP into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He signed a contract with the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko. Oleksandr served as a grenade launcher in the 1st assault detachment of the 2nd assault platoon of the 3rd assault company of the 1st assault battalion of the brigade.

Father Dobrenko Ivan Vasilyovych and mother Dobrenko Valentyna Fedorivna live in the village of Korobchyne, Chuhuiv district;
Dobrenko's wife, Karina Anatoliivna, currently lives in the city of Chuguiv.
Dobrenko's daughters Bohdana and Victoria, born in 2017, live with their mother in the city of Chuhuiv.
Brother Dobrenko Serhiy Ivanovich lives in the city of Kharkiv.

Circumstances of death:
In February 2024, the unit where Oleksandr served was performing a combat mission in the Bakhmut direction. During the performance of this mission, he received combat injuries incompatible with life. Oleksandr Dobrenko died on 06.02.2024 in the settlement of Andriyivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region.
Oleksandr was buried on February 20, 2024 in the cemetery in his native village of Korobchyne.
On July 16, 2024, by Decree of the President of Ukraine dated July 16, 2024 No. 465/2024b, Oleksandr was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.
