During the conflict, the attacker stabbed the victim several times with a knife. The 35-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries.
On December 19, at around 10:00 PM, the Chuguiv District Police Department received a report from citizens about a man being stabbed in a local cafe.
The police investigation team immediately arrived at the scene. It was established that an argument broke out between the cafe visitors, which later escalated into a fight. During the fight, a 35-year-old man received multiple stab wounds. Medics took the victim to the hospital.
Investigators detained the 49-year-old attacker under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and reported him on suspicion under Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 115 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The man faces up to 15 years in prison.
