Since the beginning of 2024, 1,150 households in the community, which belong to vulnerable categories, have applied to the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Chuguiv City Council and the headmen of the Chuguiv City Territorial Community for assistance in passing the heating period of 2024-2025.
To resolve this issue, the Chuguiv City Military Administration has carried out some work:
– based on the results of work with the Charitable Foundation «CARITAS Kharkiv»:
- 200 households received 7 cubic meters of firewood each;
- 270 households in Chuguiev from among the crisis categories of the population, which were not assigned a subsidy, received targeted cash assistance for payment of housing and communal services in the amount of UAH 13,330 for the heating period;
– work was carried out with the Zaporizhia Charitable Foundation «Unity for the Future» to provide multi-purpose financial assistance to the most disadvantaged residents of the community to prepare them for winter, who have stove heating. The sponsor of this project is the international organization World Vision International. According to the results of the work carried out, 114 households of the community from among the specified population category received 21,000 UAH each for the purchase of solid fuel;
– thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the local authorities with the humanitarian organizations "Estonian Refugee Council" and "Danish Refugee Council", 528 households in the community will be provided with financial assistance to get through the heating season in the amount of 21,000 UAH;
– within the framework of the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 08/30/2024 No. 993, the Department of Social Protection of the Population, together with the headmen of the Chuhuivsk urban territorial community, formed and on 09/30/2024 sent to the KHOVA and the Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management lists of 475 households of the community, whose residents applied for cash assistance in the amount of UAH 21,000 for the purchase of solid household heating fuel. 209 households were accepted for payment by benefactors.
– Also, by the end of December, 69 households in the community will receive cash assistance for heating in the amount of UAH 25,000 from the International Committee of the Red Cross.
For comparison, in the last heating period, 778 households in the community that use stove heating were able to receive appropriate assistance.
Every family from socially vulnerable categories that uses such heating received assistance for the current heating season.
