
A solemn but deeply moving event took place today in Chuguiv. The parents of the fallen defender of Ukraine Anton Bolsun - Oleksandr Anatoliyovych and Alla Romanovna - were awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree posthumously.
This state award, which has become a symbol of recognition of heroism and selflessness, was presented as a sign of gratitude for their son's contribution to the struggle for the freedom and independence of our country.


Border guard Anton Bolsun, a native of the city of Chuguev, died on February 21, 2024 while performing a combat mission. His feat became an example of indomitable will, patriotism, and love for his native land.

The award ceremony was attended by the head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, the head of the Chuguiv RTCC and SP Oleksandr Kurichenkov, the deputy head of the 4th border detachment, Volodymyr Lazar, and the brothers of the deceased, who gathered to express their respect and support to the parents of the defender who gave his life for Ukraine.
