November 25 came into effect Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Participation of Civilians in the Defense of Ukraine"«. The provisions of this law improve the procedure for obtaining, declaring, and handling firearms in the state.
A civilian who finds a firearm, its main parts or ammunition for it is obliged to immediately notify the National Police of Ukraine of such a fact by calling the emergency service number 102 or the single telephone number 112 and, within 24 hours, transfer them to the National Police of Ukraine in any convenient way for further surrender or declaration or indicate their location for further seizure.
Found firearms and ammunition may be declared by a civilian who found the firearm and ammunition, if such person expressed a desire to leave the found firearm and ammunition for the duration of martial law.
Dear citizens, if you have found a firearm and ammunition, you must immediately declare them. You can do this at the National Police units.
