
On November 29, as part of the «Community Police Officer» project, the first police station in the Chuhuyiv community was opened. The location of the security point was the village of Kochetok. The community police officer, Senior Lieutenant of Police Rustam Netsenko, works at the station.
The Community Police Officer is the next step in the reform of the National Police. Its main goal is to provide settlements with a separate officer who will not only work on their territory, but also live there, therefore ready to respond promptly to any challenges at any time.
The Chuhuiv community joined the implementation of the «Community Police Officer» project in March 2024. So the police station was opened thanks to the joint efforts of the community and the police. The office premises were properly equipped for the comfortable work of the community police officer. As part of the cooperation, for the proper organization of the work of the law enforcement officer, funds were allocated from the community budget for the repair of the premises, the purchase of furniture, and the purchase of a special vehicle for prompt response to citizens' reports.
The official opening of the police station took place with the participation of the head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Police Colonel Petro Tokar, the head of the community interaction sector of the UPD Main Directorate, Police Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Surmach, the head of the Chuguiv District Police Department, Serhiy Ponomarev, and the head of the Vovchansk City Military Administration, Tamaz Gambarashvili.
The heads of the regional and district departments of the National Police thanked the leadership of the Chuguiv City Territorial Community and the Chuguiv City Military Administration for their cooperation and assistance in equipping the police station and expressed confidence in further successful cooperation.
During the official opening of the police station, the keys to the official cars were handed over to the police officers of the Chuhuyiv and Vovchansk TG communities.
The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, said that the community needed a police station, since the activities of the community police officer should improve public order. In addition, the Kochetotsky district is the largest in the Chuguiv community, and it is necessary to pay increased attention to creating a safe environment here.
Galyna Minaeva wished the community police officer, Rustam Netsenko, productive work for the benefit of residents.
