Residents of the villages of Velyka Babka, Kamyana Yaruga, and Zarozhne were able to purchase the medicines they needed, as well as receive medications under the state program "Affordable Medicines".
A mobile pharmacy began operating in the Kharkiv region in early 2024. Mobile pharmacies operate in the form of vehicles that deliver medicines to villages and towns where there are no stationary pharmacies.
The mobile pharmacy's operating schedule is developed by the Health Department of the HOVA, taking into account the wishes of residents and family doctors. Trips to settlements take place once or twice a month.
According to local residents, the mobile pharmacy project proved to be in demand and helped resolve the issue of availability of medicines in villages, which is extremely important, especially in conditions of martial law.
