1000 days of full-scale war: an address by the head of the city military administration, Halyna Minaeva, to the residents of the Chuhuiv community

1,000 days of full-scale invasion and over 10 years of war, grief and pain, confrontation and struggle, self-identification and unity.

Today marks 1,000 days since our country was once again forced to defend its independence, freedom, and dignity. A thousand days of our people's courageous struggle against a full-scale invasion, a thousand days of resilience and unity of Ukrainians in the most brutal trials.

This time united us, taught us to appreciate every day, every victory and every saved life. Each of us now has our own personal story of losses and heroism, hope and faith in victory. And these days we not only resist the enemy, but also become stronger, more indomitable. Ukrainians have proven that our people are a people who do not give up, who fight to the end. The Chuhuiv community suffered heavy losses, the most expensive of which are the lives of residents, the lives of our Defenders. Infrastructure facilities and housing were destroyed and damaged, but this can be restored, which is what we are working on. The people of Chuhuiv have been strong and courageous all this time, have shown tolerance and kindness towards each other: they cleared, dismantled, built, transported, prepared... They were and are a reliable shoulder for each other. I am proud of you, dear fellow countrymen!

Thank you to everyone who brings victory closer every day with their work and dedication: our military, who fearlessly defend our land, volunteers, doctors, educators, utility workers, and everyone who works so that we can live.

We still have a long way to go, but we move forward with the confidence that victory will be ours. Each of us is an important part of this struggle, and together we will persevere, rebuild our country, and leave a legacy of pride and strength for generations to come.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our Heroes!
