This issue really excited the residents of the Chuguiv community last week. People who have recently become accustomed to the solid size of subsidies, upon learning their size for October, began to massively contact the Pension Fund and the city administration for clarification. Well, we are providing them.
As reported by the local branch of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, during May-September of this year, benefits and subsidies were accrued in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 521 dated 08.05.2024.
This document, in particular, determined that for residents of the Kharkiv region, subsidies for electricity should be accrued in a fivefold amount. Apparently, the government thus wanted to alleviate the burden of payments after raising the tariff for electricity for residents of the region, where there was absolutely no energy generation left due to rocket attacks. As a result of this decision, even those residents of our community who previously received a small subsidy received it in the amount of 700-3000 UAH.
However, now the effect of Resolution No. 521 has ended, and from October 1, residents will again receive it in a lump sum. Accordingly, having received much smaller amounts instead of the usual ones, people began to worry. However, Pension Fund specialists reassure residents: in November, the amount of the subsidy will increase again due to the beginning of the heating season and, accordingly, due to the need to pay for heat. According to them, the only ones who should really worry now are residents who were supposed to receive the subsidy by October 25, but did not receive it at all. Such citizens need to either personally contact the Pension Fund administration, or call (05746) 2-20-25.
