On November 13, the Chuguiv community paid its last respects to the defender of Ukraine, Valeriy Volodymyrovych Kuryl. He served as a driver of a mortar platoon of the fire support company of the reconnaissance battalion of military unit A0501. He died defending the Kharkiv region on November 9, 2024 near the settlement of Glyboke, Kharkiv district.
He was drafted into military service in March 2022. According to his comrades, Valery was a model of courage, a true patriot, and a devoted defender of Ukraine. In a month he would have turned 48 years old…
