The head of the Chuguiv city military administration, Galina Minaeva, wrote in her Telegram channel:
«On October 28, the loyal and reliable friends of the Chuhuiv community - the Czechs - celebrated their national holiday - the Day of the Foundation of an Independent State.
At a ceremonial reception on this occasion, organized in Kyiv by the Embassy of the Czech Republic, I had the opportunity to personally, on behalf of all residents of the community, thank our friends and partners for the invaluable assistance they provide us during these difficult times of the Russian invasion.
Six cogeneration plants, thanks to which we ensure a stable energy supply for our boiler rooms, state-of-the-art medical equipment for primary care clinics - this is the support the government and people of the Czech Republic provided to the Chuguiv community during the war.
I am sure that years, or maybe even centuries, will pass, but the people of Chuguev will remember who gave them a friendly shoulder in difficult times. And among these people and nations, our Czech brothers will forever occupy a worthy place.
