In the Kharkiv region, compensation for damaged housing exceeded 2.5 billion hryvnias

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov.

In total, since the beginning of the implementation of the eVidnovlenie program in Kharkiv region, 42,371 applications have been submitted for financial assistance for the repair of damaged housing. The largest number of applications was submitted by residents of Izyumsky, Kharkivsky and Chuguyivsky districts. 24,042 applicants have already received financial assistance for the repair of housing damaged as a result of the actions of the Russian occupiers, for a total amount of over 2.27 billion hryvnias. More than 301 million hryvnias have been transferred for payment to another 1,654 residents of the region. 

«"Currently, 54 communities have commissions to consider issues related to providing compensation for damaged real estate. The established commissions determine the extent of damage to real estate based on the data of commission survey reports and make decisions on the allocation of assistance. Today, this area is one of the priorities in the work of the regional military administration," said Oleg Synegubov. 

At the same time, in 36 territorial communities, commissions have formed 3,400 certificates for the provision of compensation for completely destroyed property worth over 4.7 billion hryvnias. 

Using housing certificates, 735 real estate objects were purchased in the Kharkiv region - 552 apartments and 183 private residential buildings. The cost of the purchased housing is over 1.2 billion hryvnias. In total, more than 940 compensation recipients from the Kharkiv region have already used housing certificates, the majority of whom purchased housing in Kharkiv, Izyum and Chuhuiv territorial communities, the rest in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zakarpattia and other regions.
