Ukrposhta has concluded an agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine under a reimbursement program for free delivery of medical products in the following areas:
- cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases;
- type 2 diabetes;
- chronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract;
- medical devices for determining blood glucose levels;
- diabetes insipidus;
- mental and behavioral disorders;
- epilepsy;
- Parkinson's disease.
As in a regular pharmacy with an agreement with the National Health Insurance Fund, medications can be obtained free of charge or with an additional fee using an electronic prescription.
Important! Narcotics and insulin cannot be ordered and delivered via Ukrposhta!
All residents of Ukraine can use the “Ukrposhta.Apteka” service, including those in front-line areas where access to medicines is difficult.
How to order medicine?
Make sure you have a valid e-prescription. If it was written more than 30 days ago, contact your doctor to get a repeat prescription.
Call the Ukrposhta contact center at 0 800 300 545 and follow the prompts in the voice menu to contact a specialist.
Give the operator the electronic prescription number (16 digits) and an additional 4 digits of its redemption code, select the drug from the suggested ones. Place an order: provide contact details and delivery address.
Next, the completed order will be sent to the client to the nearest branch using the “Ukrposhta Express” service.
As soon as the parcel is ready for delivery, the customer receives an SMS message.
To check if the order is correctly completed, you can inspect the package upon receipt. Delivery times are up to three days between regional centers (excluding the day of shipment).
Delivery of medicines under the “Affordable Medicines” program is free of charge.
Currently, the program includes 532 names of medicines and medical devices. More details about all areas of the program can be found at by reference.
In addition to drugs under the “Affordable Medicines” program, you can also order any other prescription and over-the-counter medicines, which Ukrposhta will deliver to the nearest branch.
