On September 20, a festive event was held to mark this significant date.
Due to the security situation this year, Kochetok Village Day was celebrated in a small family circle with the participation of heads of local enterprises and village activists.
The head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, came to congratulate the residents of Kochetok on the 383rd anniversary of the founding of the village.
In her speech, she noted that all the settlements that became part of the Chuguiv urban territorial community have become a friendly, strong family in which people know how to hear each other and work harmoniously for a common future, and especially noted the significant role that Kochetok plays in all spheres of community life.
A musical gift for the participants of the festive event was prepared by the creative team of the Cultural Center "Image". Also, the veteran amateur ensemble of Kochetka "Kalinonka" presented its number dedicated to the village.
The culmination of the solemn event was the summing up of the action in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the eve of the Village Day in Kochetok, a fundraiser was organized for an electronic warfare system for a local resident who is currently defending Ukraine from the Russian aggressor. Blokha Mykyta Serhiyovych has been at the front since April 2022, serving in the 66th brigade. The electronic warfare system is needed to save the lives of soldiers when performing combat missions. During the celebrations on the occasion of the Village Day, the village headman Anastasia Maiboroda presented a brass sleeve with the coat of arms of the village of Kochetok, painted to order, to the family whose donation was the largest. This is the Kravchenko family. The initiators of the action noted that the collection for the purchase of the electronic warfare system has not yet been closed, so anyone can join it.
