The Law of Ukraine "On the Purification of Power"« dated 16.09.2014 No. 1682-VII defines the legal and organizational procedures for purging the authorities of officials defined by this law, in order to establish the rule of law, legality in society, and increase the effectiveness of the fight against corruption. This law provides for the verification of the reliability of information on the application of prohibitions provided for in parts three and four of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine «On Purging the Authorities», submitted by persons holding relevant positions or applying for such positions. The procedure for conducting such verification and the list of bodies conducting it are approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 16.10.2014 No. 563 «"Some issues of implementing the Law of Ukraine "On the Purification of Power".
