Beta testing of the National Cashback program began on September 2, 2024. It will last about a month.
During this period, the system will be filled with goods from Ukrainian manufacturers, for the purchase of which consumers will receive 10% cashback. New retail chains and stores will join. The operation of technical systems that ensure the operation of the project will be checked.
«"As of today, at least 7 retail chains are accruing cashback, with about 40 more retail establishments in the process of joining. 38 thousand products from 600 Ukrainian manufacturers have already been registered in the program.
"Supporting Ukrainians is a consistent policy of the government, especially on the eve of the heating season, because the cashback received will be used, for example, to pay for utilities. At the same time, encouraging the purchase of local goods will create jobs and provide additional tax revenues. After all, up to 40% of funds spent on Ukrainian goods is returned to the budget through taxes and goes to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," emphasized the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
Consumers can register for the program starting September 4, 2024.
To receive cashback from the state, you must submit an application through the website or mobile application of the bank participating in the program, or contact a branch. Open a physical or virtual card to which cashback will be credited. Currently, this can already be done through mobile applications and branches of the following banks: Privatbank, Sense Bank, FUIB, A-bank, Globus, Ukrsibbank, Acordbank.
When contacting the bank, you will also need to specify the cards from which payments for goods will be made, and consent to the transfer of transaction data when purchasing goods from the selected cards. These can be cards of different banks. Then update the Diya mobile application, select the National Cashback service and there mark the card for cashback payments.
After that, you can go to a store that has already joined the National Cashback program and make purchases. Cashback is already available for 38 thousand products from 600 local manufacturers. Among them are food, medicines, clothing, household chemicals and cosmetics, household goods, building materials, furniture, toys and many other Ukrainian-made products.
«"Diya already has 20+ million users. In four years, the application has become an indispensable tool for Ukrainians to interact with the state. Now, Ukrainians can join the Natskeshbek program in a few clicks on their smartphone and receive compensation once a month for purchasing Ukrainian-made goods. Everything will be simple and convenient," said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technologies - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
Cashback is already being accrued in stores of the Aurora, ATB, Novus, Ecomarket, Okko, WOG, and Ukrnafta chains. Other chains and individual stores are preparing for the launch.
Cashback is accrued on products from local manufacturers included in the program, with the exception of excisable products (fuel, tobacco, and strong alcohol).
Cashback also applies to Ukrainian-made medicines, alcohol-free wine, and honey drinks.
The list of manufacturers and products participating in the program will continue to grow. You can find out which products are already eligible for cashback here on the program website. Retail establishments will also inform consumers about the products for which cashback will be applied.
The amount of cashback is 10% of the cost of purchased Ukrainian goods registered in the program. The maximum amount of payments is 3 thousand UAH per month. The funds accumulated per month will be credited to the created card once a month until the 20th of the next month. For example, cashback for goods purchased in September will be credited to the account by October 20. It will be impossible to withdraw cash from the account where cashback funds are credited. Cashback funds accrued in 2024 can be used until January 31, 2025. Funds for December will be credited in February 2025.
The funds received for participating in the "National Cashback" program can be spent on services - utilities, transportation, treatment, mobile communications, sports, cinema, etc. They can also be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or purchased military bonds.
The beta testing period will last about a month. During this period, citizens will be able to provide their suggestions or comments to improve the program's mechanisms via a form on the website https://madeinukraine.gov.ua.
