What types of pensions can I apply for online?
On the Diya portal, you can submit an online application for the following types of pensions:
- by age;
- for years of service;
- disability;
- in case of loss of breadwinner.
After submitting an application, do I need to visit a branch of the Pension Fund of Ukraine?
Yes, after checking the submitted online documents, you need to visit the PFU. You must have the original documents with you to obtain a pension certificate. A paper pension certificate can be picked up at the PFU branch at the place of registration, and an electronic pension certificate can be picked up at the bank branch specified in the application.

How to change the method of pension payment?
Submit an application for changing the method of pension payment on the portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
To do this:
1. Log in to your user account on the PFU portal.
2. Go to Menu — About pension provision.
3. In the Making changes to the pension file section, select Application for changing the method of pension payment
What documents will be needed to fill out the electronic application form for a pension?
Required for upload are scanned copies of the taxpayer card (RNOKPP) and passport (or ID card). Other documents may be required depending on the type of pension and the applicant's application form data.
What is an electronic pension certificate (EPC) and how does it differ from a regular one?
An electronic pension certificate (EPC) is a document in the form of a regular plastic bank card that confirms the status of a pensioner. Unlike a regular pension certificate, an EPC combines the functions of a certificate and a payment card and contains an electronic signature.
How to obtain an electronic signature (ES)?
You can get an electronic signature:
- At PrivatBank online or at a bank branch – the service is free for PrivatBank clients.
- In Telegram, the Sberbank chatbot is free.
- In your personal account Vchasno using your account, mail and Action.Signature — for free.
- At the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Traffic Safety Administration - free of charge.
- For qualified providers of electronic trust services, it is about 200 UAH, but it may vary in different key certification centers.
We recommend storing the electronic signature key on removable media (for example, a flash drive).
