Four years ago, on September 25, 2020, a plane crash occurred near the city of Chuguev, claiming the lives of 26 officers and cadets. Then, during a scheduled training flight, an An-26Sh military aircraft of the 203rd Training Aviation Brigade crashed. In the terrible plane crash, the young, strong, and brave – the pride and glory of the nation – departed for eternal flight…
This tragic day has forever entered the history of Chuguev. For our city, where thousands of military pilots first took to the skies, this is a particularly painful wound. Especially since Chuguev residents were among the dead.
Today, the community honored the memory of military pilots and cadets. Head of the Chuguiv City Military Administration, Galina Minaeva, together with fellow citizens of the deceased, laid flowers at the memorial sign at the site of the plane crash.
The Chuhuyiv community will never stop honoring its sons who dedicated their lives to defending the Motherland. And it will never forget those who gave their lives for this noble cause... We remember...
